Thank you for
donating to jhcamp! At present, we are taking direct contributions via
cash or check to keep our costs as low as possible.
We believe it is critical to our mission to let donors make an informed
choice about the use of their donation, and the value it creates. We
target a cost per camper of $400. For this, each jhcamper receives six
hours of facilitated discussions on grief and happiness, six meals and
multiple snacks, supervised activities like wall-climbing and canoeing,
and two nights of lodging.
We believe these benefits alone to be worth well over $400. They are
additionally supplemented by meeting nearly 50 peers that they can share
with, and learn from, as well as the caring support of their own Big.
Finally, it is our sincere belief that what a jhcamper learns over a
weekend will help them to make positive choices in their own lives,
allowing them to be happier people, and supporting them on a path of
personal success. We consider that possibility to be priceless.
