Children arrive on Friday. In a weekend, they experience:

meeting other children, to know they are not alone

the ‘Bigs,’ an adult assigned one-to-one, who is their mentor and friend

‘Circles’ - group sessions to learn about grief, and the hopeand joy that exists in life, including arts and crafts projects
-
fun team and confidence building events
-
Saturday night bonfire
-
Sunday memorial service

-lots of fun and games

jhcamp builds on the success of other camp programs acrossthe country. The first camp in Southern California is currently planned for October 13-15, 2006.
